300m walk to beach and restaurants of Yalikavak. 20 mins drive to Bodrum, 50 mins drive to Bodrum Airport.

This lovely ground floor apartment, referred to as 'the cottage' is in a quiet hide away just off the village road which runs parallel to the beach in Yalikavak.  It is one of 6 apartments which surround a large pool set in lawned gardens.  This really is an unusual apartment for several reasons:  it is furnished and equipped to exceptionally high standards; it has 2 bathrooms; it is 300m walk away from the beach front at Yalikavak and is in a quiet and peaceful location.

The front door opens into an open plan living area which has kitchen at one end and lounge seating area at the other.  The fixtures and furnishing are of high quality throughout and in the lounge area there is a large comfy sofa and two armchairs, TV and DVD player.  The coffee table opens up and inside are back gammon and chess boards.  The kitchen is well equipped with all white goods and ample cupboard and base units. You will find all you need inside the cupboards for a self-catering holiday.

Sliding doors open from the lounge to the large covered dining terrace, which overlooks the pool and gardens.  Here you will find a dining table and chairs, plus soft padded conservatory lounge style sofa and chairs.  Sun loungers are also provided for the pool.

Bedroom 1 (master): This bedroom has a large double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets and has an en-suite shower room.  This room over looks the pool and gardens.
Family Shower Room: This spacious room has a shower, WC and wash basin and is just off the lounge area.

Bedroom 2 (double): Another bedroom with large double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe etc.

POOL & GARDENS
Outside, there is a large communal pool with lots of sunbathing space, set in landscaped gardens. 

TRANSPORT
The apartment is less than 5mins walk to the very centre/beach area of Yalikavak and therefore a vehicle is not necessary.  10 mins walk takes you to the market place, just on the outskirts of the town.  The apartment istself is just off the road which runs parallel to Yalikavak beach and is accessed via a single unmade track - torch is required at night times!

For those who want to explore the towns and villages of the Peninsula, car hire can be arranged, contact annie@peninsulavillacare.com and a walk up the hill by the old mosque will take you to the main road to Bodrum, where you can hop on a Dolmus into Bodrum centre (20 mins away by vehicle).

GUEST FEEDBACK
The apartment was lovely, it was in an excellent quiet position yet near shops and restaurants and Yalikavak was a great little town. The facilities at the apartment were of a high standard,  the pool was superb, and the gardens and pool were well looked after. The beach was better than I thought it would be, as photos of it are limited- a bit stony, but handy and not too busy. If we had not been going for the windsurfing world champs it would still have been a marvelous place for a holiday.
