Villa located overlooking Gundogan bay, 300m from the beach and centre. 5 mins drive to Yalikavak. 45 mins drive from Bodrum Milas Airport, 25 Mins to Bodrum town.

With its private pool and gardens overlooking the Aegean bay of Gundogan on the ‘trendy’ Bodrum Peninsula, this luxury villa has been superbly designed to maximise the considerable interior and exterior space.  Space is definitely the priority. 

The open plan living accommodation again is spacious, light, bright and airy.  With its four well apportioned bedrooms, all with en-suite bathing facilities, the villa can comfortably sleep 9, plus 1 small child in a cot.   The outside entertaining areas on the terraces (both shady and sunny) are huge - the large ‘free form’ shaped pool daringly cuts from the villa terrace into the garden and is surrounded by colouful, exotic gardens.  The views are amazing.............


ACCOMMODATION
The villa is furnished in a contemporary style throughout, creating a calm and stylish atmosphere.  Each room is air-conditioned.  From the outside, it looks like a large U shaped bungalow, with a glass paneled corridor linking the living accommodation to the master bedroom suite, bedrooms 2 and 3. This corridor has sliding doors opening onto the pool/dining terrace, which can also be accessed via the kitchen, main lounge or master bedroom. A few travertine steps take you to the main bedroom levels.  

From the entrance door a hall takes you to the lounge/dining/kitchen area which is open plan in style.  The large lounge and dining area has many windows producing light and revealing those all important views.  The comfy lounge seating area is L shaped and can seat 8 on its leather sofas.  This part of the room has a fireplace (not that you will have need for this during the hot summer months), occasional tables, flat screen TV with free-view satellite (with some English channels), DVD player and Hi Fi unit with Bose speakers (which can be connected to an iPod/MP3 player). The lounge has sliding patio doors opening on to the front shaded terrace and gardens and to the side of the lounge, sliding patio doors opening onto the sunny dining/swimming pool terrace area.  The interior dining area of the lounge is towards the back of the open plan living area and has a ‘picture window’ size access hatch to the kitchen.  A large dining table and chairs which can comfortably seat 8 is between the lounge and kitchen serving 'hatch'.

The large kitchen is tiled with travertine tiles and fitted with a range of quality wall cupboards and base units and is equipped with modern Bosch appliances including fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher.  Everything you require for a self-catering holiday is provided in the cupboards.  A door from the kitchen leads to the outside dining/pool area.  The BBQ is stored here but can be moved to wherever you prefer!

BEDROOMS – 4 . All have en-suite facilities and Air Conditioning
Bedroom  1 (Master) – king size bed, bedside cabinets, ample wardrobe and drawer space.  Sliding doors open onto the garden and not only provide views of the bay, gardens and hillside but there is also a small private breakfast patio area in the garden outside this room.  If you decide to take a morning (or evening swim), another set of sliding patio doors lead directly to the pool terrace. This room has an en-suite bathroom with WC, twin wash basins and jacuzzi bath/shower.  A child's cot is also available if required for this or any of the other double bedrooms.

Bedroom 2 - Next to the master suite.  Has twin beds, bedside cupboard, wardrobes, en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 3 –  at the rear of the villa.  Double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, wardrobes and en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 4 –  at the end of the connecting corridor towards the entrance area.  This room has a double bed, dressing table, wardrobes and an en-suite shower room.

An additional single collapsible bed is available to accommodate an extra person.  This can be added easily to fit into bedrooms 1, 3 or 4.

Cleaning & laundry - fresh bed linen and towels are provided on arrival.  A washing machine is provided for guest's use and can be found in the utility room which is between bedrooms 1 and 2.  The villa will be cleaned on arrival and departure and for bookings longer than one week, a mid term mini clean and change of laundry is included in the price.  Should you wish additional maid service during your stay, then this can also be arranged for an additional charge - please contact us for costs.  Beach towels are not provided.

OUTSIDE
The sea-facing terraces and gardens is where most time will be spent.  Again, space is what this villa is all about.  There are both sunny and shady terrace areas for you to while away the day and nights.  Choose a comfy sofa under the covered terrace to sit in and read a book, dine under a sunshade on the sunny poolside terrace, or wheel a sun lounger out onto the lawn and take in the magnificent views of Gundogan bay and the surrounding hillside. 

The gardens really are a picture with its exotic and colourful plants and provide plenty of secure space for children to play and run around in. The view in front is of the horse-shoe shaped bay of Gundogan and the turquoise Aegean and to the right, as a contrast, the green and lush hillside view which has white sugar cube houses dotted around surrounded by olive trees, bouganvillae and oleander.  

The pool terrace, outside the lounge and kitchen has a wooden table and chairs and free standing BBQ, ideal for al-fresco dining.

For the more energetic, this private development has two floodlight tennis courts for the sole use of guests staying at the villas.

POOLS
Private Pool - The villa has its own, larger than average, private infinity edged pool.  This pool has wheelchair access.  Its cleverly designed gentle slope starts at the head of the dining terrace, then its free-form shape cuts into the garden.  As you would expect, the views from the pool are breathtaking.  

Communal Pool - If you decide you, or your children, want to socialise with guests who may be staying at some of the neighbouring villas, then the 20m communal infinity pool below is also a choice for you (also has children’s pool).  This has a large pool bathing area, toilets, changing rooms and pool side bar.  

The villa can take a maximum of 9 guests, plus a small infant/child as a cot is provided.

Children are very welcome as with its safe and private large gardens this is a very family orientated villa.  

The villa and private pool is wheelchair accessible.

Shops (Bakals) - there are many small mini-markets, shops (Bakal in Turkish) which are open late at night.  A short distance away and Gundogan itself has larger supermarkets etc.
 
Each Wednesday, Gundogan hosts a vendor's market with a range of fruit, vegetables, olives, cheeses, herbs and spices, clothing, souvenirs etc for sale.  Worth a visit as it is a very colourful sight.  The larger market in Yalikavak (next village) is held each Thursday.

Banks/supermarkets/petrol stations etc
Gundogan village has several ATM machines around its central beach and restaurant area.  As well as the many shops, there is a Migros supermarket also in the centre.  Yalikavak (the nearest town/village) is a 5 minute drive away.  Here you will find several banks, Garanti & Finansbank are two good ones, these have ATMs.  Large supermarkets, Carrefour, Migros and Tansas can also be found on the outskirts of Yalikavak, whereas just outside Bodrum (Ortakent area) there is a very large Kipa (Tesco) and next door, Metro (Makro) cash and carry - visitors can apply for a day pass for the latter.

We had an amazing time and want to go back ASAP!! The Villa was superb and Burak and the guys were fantastic. We had dinner in Mustafas one night, the Sea Bream was fantastic!!  Olira serves fantastic food and the staff there were great with the kids so we did go there a few times.
